This policy covers PetPal for Apple Watch and this support website. PetPal does not use an account, advertising, analytics, or a developer-operated data backend.
Data on your watch
Your pet name, activity timers, story choices, keepsakes, preferences and event summaries are saved locally on your device. A previous-save backup is also local. A small shared App Group snapshot lets the app and widget show companion and timer information.
Optional Health data
With your permission, PetPal reads steps and recorded sleep, workouts and standing information from Apple Health to choose a relevant pet response. Access is optional and can be revoked in system Health permissions. Health records can be delayed and do not establish live sleep or sitting. Step totals, sleep durations and workout details may be shown in memory; they are not sent to us. PetPal does not write Health data or provide a diagnosis. Event identifiers, types and times may be stored locally to avoid duplicate responses.
No data collection by the app
The app does not send your saves, activity information or Health data to the developer. It includes no advertising SDK, analytics SDK or account service. It does not sell or share your personal data, and it does not use Health data for advertising or marketing.
Storage and deletion
App data remains on the watch until you reset it in the app or remove the app. Some system backups are managed by Apple. PetPal does not provide a cloud backup, and cannot guarantee recovery following an uninstall, device loss or a change of watch.
This website
Cloudflare hosts this static website. Requests may expose technical information such as your IP address, request time, URL and browser information to Cloudflare for delivering and protecting the website. We add no analytics, advertising scripts, tracking cookies or contact form. These website requests do not include your app saves or Health data.
Support email
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to answer your request. Avoid sending Health records. Email services may process the message. Contact goodsiwen@gmail.com for support or privacy requests.
Children and changes
PetPal does not create user profiles or intentionally collect information from children. This policy may change when the app’s behavior changes; the date above identifies the current version.
