What do I need?

Apple Watch running watchOS 11 or later. PetPal supports English, Simplified Chinese, French, Japanese and Korean. No PetPal account is required.

How do I start?

Open “Do something together” and choose work, study, exercise or rest. You can pause or finish the timer. A life event will not interrupt an activity already running.

How does the pet follow my day?

The room and pet follow the watch’s local time. From 10 pm to 6 am, an idle home screen shows only the sleeping pet. Activity, story and keepsake entries are hidden; a timer already in progress keeps running. No bedtime notification is scheduled.

What can Health access do?

If you choose to allow Health access, PetPal can respond to recorded sleep, workouts and standing information. Apple may deliver records later. It cannot detect live sleep or sitting, and it is not a medical app. You can also use manual life events without Health access.

Where is my widget?

Add PetPal to the Apple Watch Smart Stack. On a compatible face, add a PetPal complication. Some faces, including Playtime, have no complication slots. Widget refresh timing is controlled by watchOS.

Can I recover my save?

In Settings, local recovery can restore the previous backup on this watch. There is no PetPal cloud sync or guaranteed recovery after uninstalling the app or changing watches. Keep the app installed if you want to preserve its local memories.

Are there subscriptions?

PetPal is a one-time paid app. There are no subscriptions, ads or in-app purchases. Local App Store pricing may vary by region; Apple handles purchases and refunds.
